Each year, the Northeastern Woodworkers Association (NWA) presents a fine woodworking exposition featuring hundreds of pieces of furniture, toys, carvings, turnings, sports equipment, and miniatures by the region's finest woodworkers. This will be the 21st Woodworker's Showcase.

Woodworkers Showcase includes a woodworkers' competition and awards, a special theme display, exhibits by guest organizations, experts available to answer woodworking questions, continuous free lectures and demonstrations, and special exhibits and sale of products by national and area businesses of interest to woodworkers.

Exhibits by Regional and Professional Woodworkers - Be Part of the Gallery and Show Your Work

This premier woodworking event each year is a two-day show held at the City Center in Saratoga Springs. It provides an opportunity for amateur and professional woodworkers to exhibit their work and to learn from their peers.  More than 500 items are exhibited, from small accessory items and turnings to large pieces of furniture. Exhibitors can elect to have their work judged by a panel of nationally known woodworkers.

The instant gallery is open to all who wish to show their work. For those attendees interested in entering their work into the gallery, the entry form is available here in .doc and here in pdf. Art in Wood Gallery

The Art in Wood Gallery was a great success last year and is back again this year. Items of wood will be offered for sale in the Art In Wood Gallery which will be located in the area of Showcase formerly known as the Professional Gallery. If you'd like to participate, you can fill out and submit your application electronically here. If you would rather fill out a paper copy and mail it in with a cd with pictures of your work, you can download the snail mail application here. Both applications have the particulars about participating. PLEASE NOTE: The application for the Art In Wood Gallery is separate from the regular Showcase Gallery application form.

Continuous Schedule of Free Seminars on Tools and Techniques

Lectures on a wide range of woodworking topics, presented by nationally and regionally recognized professionals and amateurs, are held concurrently in a number of lecture rooms throughout both days. Many of the 5000 to 6000 people who attend the show each year come for these free lectures. The schedule of the free seminars will be available soon.

Sales and Exhibits of Tools and Materials by National Manufacturers and Local Suppliers

Enjoy the trade show with over 12,000 square feet of woodworking related vendors. If it is related to woodworking or woodturning, it will probably be on display in our trade show and available for sale. The trade show also features many ongoing demonstrations.

Continuous Schedule of free Demonstrations

Other features of the show include toy-making, woodturning, carving, and scrollsawing by local woodworking enthusiasts and clubs, You are welcome to visitor their displays, watch their ongoing demonstrations, and ask questions to aid in your own woodworking projects.

Parking for the event is available at several ramps near the City Center. You can find information regarding parking here. There is a printable map located here.

Saratoga Springs has a host of fine dining establishments from formal to fast food and chain restaurants. Many are within easy walking distance of the event. The host hotel is also offering the following for the convenience of the attendees.
